Paper Two: Hundred Word Challenge

    The most meaningful way a community can interact with a place is by making memories there. If you were to go to a restaurant or park with a friend or someone meaningful, and you too made a good memory there, the place then becomes valuable to you. This is because the place now holds a special memory and a place in your heart. When this concept is applied to a community with thousands of memories, it is easy to see why one would want to protect or preserve it. Memories give a community a reason to preserve a special place.
